is there any information on whats new in version 4.2.
I would like to know if there is better support for bpmn diagrams and swimlanes ?

If you’re a customer under subscription, you should have gotten an email with the new stuff when beta went out.
But to answer your question… there isn’t anything in 4.2 specific to BPMN or swimlanes.
