I've noticed that the mouseDragLeave

is not being called in 0.8.2 - if I use the previous version 0.8.1 - it does.

That seems to be happening only with external drag-and-drops, not with internal ones.
Thanks for reporting this – we’ll work on this.

I believe this has been fixed for 0.8.3, which is now “latest”.
