Generating thumbnail of selected objects on GoView

Hello,

I have an application wherein user drops many customized GoNode objects on GoView and links them. There is a option for user to select
group of objects of his choice and save it as a template so that
he can drag drop that structure at one shot. I need to create an icon
for that template and would like to be thumbnail image of the selected
goobjects. Could you suggest how to create thumbnail image of selected
goobjects.

There is an FAQ entry titled How do I save a picture of a diagram?

It shows how to save a collection of objects to a PNG file. You can use GoImage to display that icon and do the scaling, or you can use .NET to save a scaled icon-sized image.
