This may be of interest to somewone - I spent some time figuring what was happening.
I have GoGroup derived objects that include invisible children of GoObject type. Despite them being invisible and unselectable, they are still included in Bounds calculations. The children positioning must be taken care of in LayoutChildren, otherwise Bounds value does not agree with what user sees.
