I am using GoForms, GoLayout version 2.4.1.1 in Visual Studio 2005. I have registered my components according to the directions and no longer have the watermark on my development box. On a runtime box, I still get an error stating that the components are not licensed. The licenses.licx file is part of the project as an embedded resource, it is an exe, and I have run the sample apps successfully on the runtime machine. I noticed that the message states that you should not rename your assembly after “linking”. I am not sure what “linking” means in this context, but we have renamed our assembly. How do I get licensing to work on a runtime machine? Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is really holding us up.
