Version 2.5 includes a new sample application, InteractiveForce.
This sample is BasicApp with a force-directed autolayout running. It’s hard to show using screen shots – you have to try it interactively yourself.
Here’s a sequence of three sreen shots, where I am dragging node #4 towards the top-left of the screen, and then a little bit back down towards the bottom-right.
Note how node #6 got squeezed between #1 and #2 and then pushed out further to the top-left.
