Can I combine the Panning tool and the Linking tool at the same time in a GoWeb View?
So that the view will auto-scroll while in the middle of creating a link? No, not in GoWeb.
That is not what I mean.
I want to manually scroll and pan in a view where I can also link some objects. Now, if I activate the GoToolLinkingNew tool I cannot scroll nor pan manually. If I Activate the GoToolPanning tool I cannot make links.
Only one tool is active at a time.
In GoWin, if you mouse-down on a port and start creating a link, then move near the edge of the view... the view will scroll automatically so that you can link to a node that was originally "off screen". In this case, it's the GoToolLinking that implements the panning.
But in GoWeb, there isn't any support for the auto-scrolling while linking.
but... you said "I want to manually scroll and pan in a view where I can also link some objects." GoWeb certainly allows that, by default, with no effort from you to control Tools. You just can't scroll/pan WHILE linking.
