Trying to develop a control similar to toolbox as in visual studio .NET. Any suggestions as to which GoObject is best suitable?

Well, a GoPalette, not a GoObject, would be most similar. However, there is no support for having different categories of components, with those headers that move up/down so that only one category is shown at a time.
We have considered this feature for a future version of GoDiagram.
I believe you could implement this yourself, though it would take a bit of programming.
