Drag and Drop in the same Diagram

Hi, I need help for the following scenario:

  1. Drag and Drop in the same diagram.
  2. The node which is dragged should not leave its position instead a copy/image of the node should move with the mouse pointer.
  3. The diagram should not distort during the operation.

Do you intend for the operation to be only a move or only a copy or either a move or a copy (depending on the control key)?

Why do you want a move not to be a realtime or direct manipulation?

What do you mean by “distorting” the diagram? Do you mean auto-scrolling?
