I am just curious to understand will I be able to work with Angular 6+ and GoJS v1.6.1, which is written in js. Or should I switch to the Go 2.0 which is written in Typescript?

No version of GoJS has any dependencies on any independent library or framework. All versions of GoJS will work with every version of Angular.

So you can decide what you want to use.
